It was a great pleasure to welcome Rear Admiral Thomas Ishee, Deputy Commander, Joint Functional Component Command for Global Strike, to the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile today. Rear Admiral Inshee was in Mobile for Navy Week, taking part in many Navy Outreach-NAVCO activities, allowing him to talk to people about what the U.S. Navy does and to thank military veterans for their service.
The admiral was born in Mobile, and still has family here, so it was nice to welcome him home, and tell him about what we do in Mobile, and about Airbus’ presence throughout the U.S.
