On December 1 at Mobile Chamber’s 8th Annual State of the Economy, Airbus was named Manufacturer of the Year. The event was attended by more than 300 community and business leaders from across the region. Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility Vice President and GM Daryl Taylor accepted the award on behalf Airbus, thanking community partners and the Airbus team for their unwavering dedication and support.
Additionally, U.S. Manufacturing Facility chief of staff Bettsie Norton spoke on a panel during the event representing Airbus and women in manufacturing.
The Mobile Chamber is charged with promoting the area through business and commercial commerce. Their mission is to serve as a progressive advocate for business needs to promote the Mobile area’s economic well-being.
