With aloha spirit, The Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Alabama has reached another milestone: delivering our first U.S.-produced #A321 to Hawaiian Airlines. This is the 72nd aircraft delivered from Mobile, and the first we’ve delivered to Hawaiian Air.
Airbus presented a commemorative painting by aviation artist Rick Herter Art to the airline.
We know when the aircraft we produce here in Mobile leave our facility, they go on to take passengers on some wonderful adventures. A member of the airline’s delivery team captured this photo from the aircraft as it passed Mt. Rainier on its way to its new home in the Hawaiian Air fleet.
